About the Williamsburg Inn
Built in 1937 by American businessman John D. Rockefeller Jr., the Williamsburg Inn was designed to model a country estate. The Inn underwent extensive renovations in 2001 and has added more amenities and activities to make the historic hotel a prime lodging option. The Williamsburg Inn has received accolades from a number of prominent sources, including the AAA Five Diamond Award in 2017. Williamsburg Inn Rooms & Suites
There are 62 beautifully decorated rooms and themed suites at the Williamsburg Inn. In addition to the warm décor and plush bedding, the rooms also feature marble bathrooms, a shower and soaking tub.
Standard Guest Rooms
The Williamsburg Inn offers visitors three styles of guest rooms, all bringing to life the nostalgia of the English countryside with upscale touches. The Inn Deluxe, Inn Luxury and Inn Superior are all 500-square-foot rooms with either two queen beds or a king-sized bed, as well as cozy arm chairs and a table. These rooms offer views of the Golden Horseshoe Golf Course or the hotel grounds.
For more room than the standard guest rooms at the Williamsburg Inn, stay in either the Inn Junior Suite or the Inn Resort Suite. Both rooms are 700 square feet and include an adjoining living area. The Inn Junior Suite features a king bed and a queen-sized sleeper sofa, while the Inn Resort Suite has a king or queen bed.
There are three exclusive themed suites at the Williamsburg Inn. These suites pay homage to Queen Elizabeth II, Winston Churchill and John D. Rockefeller Jr. The décor in the themed suites highlight the elegance and sophistication of these iconic historical figures, all of whom have visited Williamsburg. Theme suites can only be booked by calling the Williamsburg Inn.
